With a dynamic man-management personality and successful leadership ability, which I have demonstrated repeatedly in leading on school improvement in many schools. I have a proven track record of being a successful Lead Officer in Special Measures schools where I have worked generically across subject area to take schools from “requires improvement” to “good”. I have been the Lead Officer in over eight schools in an Ofsted Category four of which moved from inadequate to satisfactory and four to good. I have been involved in leading on school improvement in all 160 schools across the LA’s. I have in-depth experience as a senior member of the schools management team, including prolonged periods as a Deputy Head teacher and also within a management role within the LA where I led the team in establishing networks with schools on various subjects including a specialism in English. It was my responsibility to analyse the data for all schools and to organise an individualised programme of brokered support.My extensive skills in the analysis of data and tracking results in order to narrow the gaps in attainment have enabled me to be able to act as an Interventions Manager to use my in-depth knowledge of all SEN programmes and I am also a trained “Achievement-for-All Coach.”Over the past seven years I have led all of the literacy intervention programmes in several LAs which has included being a LEAD in relation to establishing the Gifted and Talented programme.Also leading on ECAR (Reading Recovery). I have led schools in relation to “Narrowing the Gaps” and provided challenge for Headteachers in identifying and providing support for vulnerable groups of pupils.

My responsibilities included being a Lead Officer in schools causing concern.Developing a tailored support plan based around Ofsted actions. Brokering support in schools, planning and implementing a programme tailored to meet the needs of the school. Establishing networks of schools on various subjects and delivering Primary Strategy training.Writing be spoke packages and developing e- learning modules.
