This includes working with distribution partners to help them by providing technical support, samples and literature as well as spending ride time with them calling on accounts. As a Sales Rep with Infolab, I am responsible for all aspects of growing and maintaining business in my territory in Southwestern PA, Northern WV and the Maryland panhandle. This includes face to face calls on current and prospective customers, maintaining knowledge of current and new product lines, submission of price quotes, maintenance of accurate records and attendance at in house and other professional meetings.

As Team Leader, I was responsible for management of the Serology, Point of Care Testing, Microbiology, Histology and Cytology areas of the Laboratory. This included conducting Performance Reviews for 25 direct reports and as well as general oversight of these areas. I was also responsible for the scheduling of 70 employees on three shifts in two locations.

Medical Technologist

Job responsibilities involved primarily Blood Bank, Hematology/Coagulation, and Serology departments. Other secondary responsibilities include specimen processing, phlebotomy, and reference laboratory result entry. Because of working in self-directed teams, extra responsibilities included scheduling, maintenance, ordering, evaluating new methodologies, trouble-shooting, training new employees and students, and discussions with physicians and patients.

Responsible for work in all areas of the laboratory with minimal staff. These responsibilities included Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, Blood Bank, Microbiology planting, Phlebotomy, Specimen Processing, as well as quality control and instrument trouble shooting.
