In my most current role as Case Ready FSQR Operations Lead, my Key Responsibilities include management of 8 facilities in the U.S. and Canada in regards to Food Safety and Regulatory Compliance and execution. The responsibilities are similar to my prior role, however have broadened my exposure to Beef, Pork and Poultry processing for retail, case ready applications. In my prior role as Food Safety, Quality & Regulatory Compliance Director (October 2010-May 31, 2017), my Key Responsibilities included management of quality assurance/food safety/microbiology/document control functions in operations at all Cargill Value Added Protein (CVAP) facilities (7 USA, 5 Canada). I was also responsible for Supplier Quality Assurance Programs and ensuring compliance to USDA/FSIS/FDA/CFIA regulatory requirements for the food industry. In addition, I was a member of the CVAP Strategic Leadership Team, responsible for developing and implementing the strategy, operating plan for the business and the functional plan for Food Safety, Quality & Regulatory area.
