I am a leader of people, lifelong learner, and entrepreneur who is currently employed as a Agile Product Owner at ECRS in Boone, NC. Formerly, I created, operated, and sold a successful farm business that supported my family of four. During my years of business ownership, I hired and trained all of my employees, created and marketed new products, and managed large expansion projects along with daily tasks. Additionally, I have eleven years of teaching experience focusing on the rural and under-served as well as a diverse immigrant population. I am gifted in people facing positions: leadership, hiring, training and development, negotiation, marketing, and project management. In my spare time I enjoy hiking, riding my road and mountain bikes, spending time in the salt water, and on the New River.
