Newman Associates is the contracted PR firm for the Monroe County Tourism Development Council. As a stringer, I covered the TDC and its District Advisory Councils in Key Largo, Islamorada, and Marathon, and all the events within these boundaries, writing press releases and hosting visiting journalists from the U.S. and abroad. Two concurrent contracts – with Ocean Reef and Newman Associates – became too much and I had to choose which one I wanted to continue.

I initiated a monthly newsletter, designed it and wrote its content, for village residents on government happenings. I also created all promotional material for Founders Park and its many features. I provided website content, emailed weekly news releases and photographs to media, and interacted with media personnel and Village residents, keeping open the lines of communication.
