Kintaline Crafts Shop

Benderloch, Argyll

We collected together local craft people's work at our farm shop; with an amazing array of skills and designs. By the end we had over 85 different craft people involved from all around Argyll. We did not restrict ourselves to selling from home, but took the shop into Oban at different times, including a 6 week pre Christmas stint renting an empty shop as well as organising many craft fairs and attending local shows and events. Extending this into online sales would have been good, but there was not enough Enterprise company support for an online portal with all the backend organisation that would have been necessary to cope with so many different people's product and location.
