As a consultant for 23 years, I have deep experience in enterprise transformation. As Accenture’s CHRO for 10 years, I have deep experience in the full talent lifecycle, organizational culture and all aspects of human resources. As President and now President Emeritus of the National Academy of Human Resources (NAHR) I lead the organization to recognize those who have significantly contributed to the profession of HR and, more importantly, implemented programs that gave back to the profession. As a director on public, private and PE-owned boards, I am the voice that puts talent at the top of an organization’s agenda. I believe that an organization only will reach its potential if it gets the talent dimension right. With a reputation for operational excellence and delivering results, I am helping companies improve business outcomes through my role on their boards of directors. Current board positions are EPAM Systems, World Kinect, AlixPartners, HireRight, Cerity Partners, Succeedsmart and Certree. I have been recognized by NACD as a top 100 Corporate Director in 2022. In addition to my business acumen, I am known for connecting people to people and people to solutions. In my many roles I tap into my “connector” skills as I work with organization and individuals as a coach. During my tenure as CHRO at Accenture, I was responsible for the full employee life cycle of the global workforce of almost 200,000 employees in 56 countries. This included strategic resource planning, succession planning and transitions, recruitment, on-boarding, training and development, staffing and deployment, performance management, engagement and retention, succession planning and transitions. While consulting, I worked in sectors including technology, financial services, transportation and state and federal government. In my various roles, I place a high priority on mentoring others and find great satisfaction in helping them advance their careers.
