Her career started at Southwest Media Group in Dallas after graduating from The University of Texas where she earned a BS in Advertising with a concentration in English. During her 8 years on the agency side of the media business, Jill worked her way up to Media Director where she had ownership, accountability and day-to-day management of multi-million dollar accounts in the fast-casual, QSR, healthcare and travel categories.In 2015, Jill was hired by TEGNA to lead consumer insights development for sales marketing projects servicing 60+ stations and 500+ AEs around the country.Then in January of 2020, Jill was named Director of Consumer Insights & Sponsorships at KUSA, the NBC affiliate in Denver, Colorado. In her current role, Jill is responsible for helping the station become a data-driven organization leading to a direct impact on viewership. She works closely across all departments including content, sales and community.Jill believes that marketing has the ability to be a rewarding and engaging experience when you consider the consumer throughout the development of the campaign. Her passions outside of work include hiking and camping with her girlfriend and dog, music and absorbing random facts.
