- Conducted geological assessment of the Montney Formation in the Kaybob area to identify uphole potential on existing acreage in order to grow inventory.- Carried out stratigraphic delineation, petrophysical evaluation, sidewall core extraction and analysis, reservoir and resource mapping.- Evaluated hydrocarbon variability across the area utilizing production data, fluid analyses, and oil geochemistry.- Worked collaboratively with engineering and geophysical colleagues to better understand complexity of reservoir.- Worked with development team to propose delineation wells and future appraisal strategies. Drilled 5 HZ wells as part of 2019 program.

Calgary, Canada Area

- Conducted regional geological assessment of exploration target fairway (~7000 wells) in order to identify unconventional shale hydrocarbon potential. Integrated geological interpretations with petrophysical, geochemical, geophysical and engineering analyses. - Created an appraisal program for data collection across the shale fairway including coring, isotube collection, & industry core and cuttings analysis. Designed coring programs for 3 full-diameter cores and 2 sidewall cores. Managed all analyses programs including budget and deliverables.- Proposed and successfully drilled 2 exploration horizontal wells in high-graded prospect area. Wells were completed and flowed oil as anticipated.- Regularly presented to upper management (VP & ELT level) with learnings and proposals for future work.

Calgary, Canada Area

- Development geologist focused on the evaluation of the Cardium Formation in the Red Rock area to assess hydrocarbon potential and resource size. Resource evaluation added average OGIP of 7.5 BCF/sec to Cretaceous stack across Encana’s Red Rock lands.- Collaborated with Red Rock team members to prepare future development plan which included pad and location ranking, preparing and updating RTD’s, creating geological progs, and reviewing surveys.

Calgary, Canada Area

- Completed a geological evaluation of several prospective zones including the Belly River, Viking and Mannville over the Garden Plains property to highlight future potential for the purpose of farming out / divestment. Presented findings to potential buyers and partners.- Conducted detailed mapping on recently discovered Lloydminster Formation oil pool in the Killam area, including performing petrophysical analysis to better define oil-water contact. Compiled work and presented to various companies as a potential farm-out / divestment opportunity.

Calgary, Canada Area

- Focused on creating a regional stratigraphic framework for undifferentiated Upper Mannville coals in order to evaluate and identify areas for future CBM development.- Gained an understanding of coal deposition and quality as it relates to paleo-geographic and structural controls.

Saskatoon, Saskatchewan

- Gained gold exploration experience by helping to carry out summer drilling program. Assisted in spotting drill collars and logged and sampled drill core for assaying.

Regina, Saskatchewan

- Gained geological field experience by taking basic structural rock measurements, magmeter readings, and GPS locations. Developed basic rock and mineral identification skills. Navigated traverses with use of compass and GPS. Assisted with camp movements in and out of remote locations.
