CurrentRonald McDonald House Charities provides a piece of normal to families in a medical crisis. Over 1,000 families a year are able to receive support and a place to stay close to their hospitalized child. As the first Director of Marketing and Communications at Ronald McDonald House Charities Oklahoma City, I've had the opportunity to strategically plan internal and external communications along with many other duties to bring awareness to the mission of Keeping Families Close®. - Strategize marketing, awareness, and fundraising plans with leadership team.- Collaborate with consulting firm and partner hospitals on the Capital Campaign.- Write press releases, eNewsletters, and all copy to represent RMHC-OKC.- Create all design projects including brochures, annual report, and event invitations.- Manage the design and updates for website, Guest Chef sub-site, and social media outlets.- Administer training to staff on social media and brand standards.- Participate in Board Meetings by reporting the marketing updates.- Facilitate advertising and media relations to help promote the organization.
