Jill Fisher was Chair of the Zarwin Baum employment law practice group. Her focus was employment law and human resources management to support both large and small companies. Prior to joining the firm, Jill led her own practice specializing in a full spectrum of employment law and human resources management. Before that, she was a shareholder in a Philadelphia law firm, litigating a broad range of employment-related issues, such as sexual harassment, religious discrimination, race discrimination, disability discrimination and pregnancy discrimination in both state and federal court and at the agency level.In addition to litigation, Jill relies on years of practical experience and helps employers find creative solutions to day-to-day challenges and delicate situations that arise in the workplace. She advises, educates and trains business owners and management in the areas of harassment, discrimination and other employment-related issues, including wage and payment, family and medical leave and employee discipline and discharge. The goal of providing on-going customized training seminars for managers is to educate them about the various employment laws that affect the workplace and help them develop and improve their managerial and leadership skills to foster a more respectful workplace environment. Jill has drafted numerous employee handbooks, employment agreements and personnel policies for a wide range of industries. She has conducted seminars for various trade associations and seminar companies and she has authored articles on diverse topics, including privacy in the workplace and the Family and Medical Leave Act.
