I require knowledge of all products to assist customers with their shopping experience. As a cashier I also have to know how to process returns, exchanges and deal with customers who are unhappy about a product that was purchased.

As a Team Leader I am in charge of my own team of cast members each shift. I am required to plan out who does what tasks, when they should be completed and follow through with each task. If there are new hires I assist them with their tasks until they are comforable to do it themselves. I also have meetings with the managers to ensure that everything is working well and if there are any issues I pass the message onto the cast members. If there are any guest concerns I am required to try and resolve the issue without alerting a manager. Learning how to resolve the issues myself allowed be to build my knowledge of the company and how things work within it.

I was trained how to pierce as it was a requirement of the store. When the store went through changes I became a tap on assistant manager while we filled the position permanently. I was in charge of opening the store, closing the store, and processing inventory.

As a key holder I was required to have knowledge of all products in the store. I was also required to open and close the store when scheduled. I was also given the opportunity to train new hires to make sure they were knowledgeable on the till and on the floor. I was also required to make the bank deposits and count the floats in the morning and at night.
