My role as an IT sales professional requires significant interaction with clients and prospective clients on the telephone and face-to-face. My work consists of three main areas; pre-sales, sales, and post-sales support. Understanding customers' diverse, specific business needs and applying product knowledge to meet those needs is crucial. I identify and develop new business through cold-calling, networking and follow-up calls to review progress and identify opportunities for further sales and new areas of development. I maintain awareness and keep abreast of constantly changing technology, hardware systems and peripherals. I assist clients in maximizing their use of the hardware and or software in order to support the success of their business while staying on budget.
