The healthcare world is often changing which is what brought me to realize the passion I have to become a part of it. Being a Billing Specialist at a facility like ERB is giving me an experience that is life changing. Challenging, overwhelming, fulfilling, and grateful are words that I have been recently using when someone asks the popular question to a recent graduate, “How’s the adulting life?”. My day takes a look at insurance, authorizations, claims, and EOB’s which is a very complex area of the healthcare world. It’s constantly changing and it never seems to give you the answer you want. It does though keep the day interesting and forces you to become adaptable. I am so excited to be a part of this field and to help change something for the better.
