I am creating lesson plans and teaching art/art history to six elementary classes.

I am a Public Historian coordinating the creation of digital history projects with marginalized neighborhood communities in Boston.

In the Well-B Innovation Center, I maintain the exhibit space and have conversations with guests about the future of healthcare. We record guest feedback in a data monitoring system I am developing to track trends in their concerns.During the COVID-19 pandemic I transitioned to a digital role as the Project Manger for a COVID-19 Consumer Research initiative and the Innovation Center's Bridge to Medicare project which will facilitate higher internal member transition rates.

I opened and closed the Museum on weekends and assisted with Museum event facilitation as needed. As one of the social media contributors I created a Twitter account for the Museum's mascot, a historic dog character with strong connections to the city of Massillon. While in this role I lead a workshop for Ohio Humanities about maintaining a successful social media presence and the Museum Mascot Twitter community. I continued this position remotely for another year.

At the Massillon Museum I accompany and assist the Executive Director and the Operations Officer with daily tasks, board and finance meetings, and long-term projects. I work with membership creation and retention and I am specifically involved with Student Membership and Pet Membership. For those two categories I have created major events: a Student Day at the Museum and a heARTful paws Pet Portrait event, which both increased memberships.I have also had the opportunity to increase MassMu's social media presence by creating and implementing a six week social media campaign for #givingtuesday to increase membership, as well as promoting and documenting events like Do the Mu and First Friday through our social media platforms. Interning at Massillon Museum has been a wonderful experience because the fantastic staff have encouraged me to take initiative on projects I am passionate about and have used every event as a learning opportunity.

At the McKinley Museum I work for our 'Night at the Museum' events and my responsibilities include guiding a tour of mainly children through our historical section focusing on the history of Ohio, Stark county, and the life of President McKinley and his wife Ida. I monitor the Discovery Center where the museum has many animals and education on natural history. I also work in the gift shop and help ensure guest satisfaction.

I conducted tours of Ida Saxton McKinley's Historic Home and led conversations about the United States First Ladies' history in our main exhibit gallery. To conclude my employment I presented recommendations for revitalizing the Membership Program.

As the Exhibit Intern I assisted the Exhibits Director with whatever project-- creation or up keep-- he was working on each day. I learned the various aspects that go into designing an exhibit like how to use power tools, and how to make an exhibit that will last a long time. With restoration of exhibits I painted, sanded, and learned how to stain wood and use various chemicals safely. Organization and cleanliness was also a large part of this internship, so I helped manage our collections of exhibits. The transition of exhibits from our storage or workshop to the floor was a rewarding process; I learned how important it is to take our time while putting exhibits together. I loved participating in the transformation process and this internship was an amazing learning experience.

My internship taught me how to properly handle and document artifacts, as well proper storage and display procedures. I interviewed other volunteers and wrote for the Hoover News, our museum's publication. For this internship I also had the opportunity to learn how to give a tour of the Hoover Historical House and research specific parts of it's history and importance to the community. This research contributed to a final project of the internship- creating a display to be presented in the Walsh University David Center where it is still located. My internship at the Hoover Historical Center was a holistic experience of museum work were I was educated though experiences of multiple facets of museum work.
