In this role, I lead the Bay Area Regional Energy Network (BayREN) Single Family Residential program. This entails designing and implementing a more deliberate equity focus, structured to reach more underserved households and hard‐to‐reach customers; managing an annual $8M+ budget; and providing effective coordination with partners, contractors, and low- to moderate-income homeowner outreach.

As part of The Equity Fund's Policy Accelerator, I lead the program's climate policy learning initiatives and communication strategies for The Equity Fund's grantee partner network of 100+ movement-building organizations across 13 states. Main responsibilities include:- Managing, writing, and creating content for the Fund's policy learning hub, including climate equity-focused policy briefs, blog articles, presentation slides, fact sheets, and other collateral.- Providing equity-centered and rapid-response policy support for grassroots, community-based organizations at the intersection of climate, economic, and racial justice. This ranges from technical assistance with issue experts to communications and messaging support.- Managing the Equity Fund's blog, monthly newsletters, website, various listservs, and other editorial/digital content.- Cultivating the Fund's Policy Learning Community, which convenes our grantee network across 13 states each month for webinars, workshops, and other virtual events.

I managed research projects related to climate equity and inclusion in urban planning, policy, and development. Projects include WRI's Flagship publication series, Towards a More Equal City; WRI's Urban Water Resilience Initiative; and the Electric School Bus Initiative.

I played a key role on the Research and Knowledge Exchange team for the WRI Cities program, which is a think & do-tank, linking global research to on-the-ground work in Brazil, China, India, Mexico, Turkey, Ethiopia, Indonesia, and the US. I specialized in advancing new urban research & projects focused on helping cities mitigate and adapt to their climate risks while advancing inclusive communities, economic opportunity, and environmental health. My expertise includes: water and sanitation access, water resilience, social inclusion, urban transformation & climate adaptation. Past research has been featured in NPR, NY Times, DevEx, CityLab, PreventionWeb & more. A few highlighted responsibilities include:•Project manager & researcher on WRI’s flagship report series, “Towards a More Equal City,” on how to enable cities to provide equitable access to core urban services and infrastructure through transformative actions. The series is made up of 15+ working papers and numerous country workshops. I co-authored reports on water and sanitation access, supported the analytical work for the series overall, and managed complex, global, multi-stakeholder consultation processes. As part of the China Environment Forum team, I spearheaded research initiatives and managed content in our quarterly publications (both online and print), while supporting the CEF director in fundraising and grant writing. My responsibilities included: - Conduct research and write policy briefs & blogs on energy and environmental problems in China- Design / write grant proposals focused on water-coal confrontations, food safety, and NGO capacity building- Manage social media, media interviews, and conference event planning for 8-10 policy forums per year, directly assisting the CEF director on logistical matters

As both an educational consultant and varied subject teacher, I guided and worked closely with students and families to increase educational opportunities and improvement. This included designing customized curriculum and interactive lessons for optimized engagement for local and international students of all ages. As HR Manager, I was intimately involved with the company's overall vision and internal development. I successfully redesigned TutorME's recruitment & interview process, and boosted efficiency in the company's overall talent acquisition.

As a high school English teacher at the Asian International School, I taught grade 9, 10, and 11 classes. My responsibilities included:- Taught English Communication to Vietnamese and international high school students age 13-17- Designed a variety of adaptable English as a Second Language curriculum and syllabi - Facilitated effective classroom management, behavior management, and a dynamic learning environment, for class sizes of 25-30 students.

This was a one-year paid position, appointed by a committee comprised of school admin and elected student officials. Created in 2013, I was the first undergraduate to serve as AVP - Environmental Justice Affairs at UCSD. My responsibilities included: - Designed and implemented significant advocacy, outreach, policy, and education on issues regarding environmental and social justice on the UCSD campus. - Co-sponsored the "Climate Action Plan Task Force"​ with ASUCSD President and Vice Chancellor of Resource Management & Planning. Comprising of both students and faculty, the Climate Action Plan Task Force led a complete and overdue revision of all 7 sections for UCSD's Climate Action Plan (2008)- Represented the student voice on several committees regarding institutionalized sustainability policies at UCSD, including but not limited to: Fair Trade Advisory Committee, Advisory Committee on Sustainability, Transportation Task Force, Bike Commission, Earth Week Committee.- Managed an office of coordinators and interns to bring current campaigns to fruition
