As the Director of Patient Safety at The Barbara Bush Children's Hospital (BBCH) at Maine Medical Center, I lead a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standards of quality and safety for our pediatric patients and their families. I have over five years of experience as a Pediatric Intensivist at BBCH, where I provide critical care for children with life-threatening conditions and complex medical needs. I am also a Certified Professional in Patient Safety, and I am currently pursuing a Master of Science in Healthcare Quality and Safety at Harvard Medical School, after completing a Graduate Certificate in Healthcare Quality and Patient Safety at University of Southern Maine. My core competencies include patient safety, quality improvement, risk management, patient advocacy, team collaboration, and evidence-based practice. My mission is to create a culture of safety and excellence at BBCH, and to improve the outcomes and experiences of our pediatric patients and their families.
