I am a results-driven, self-motivated Sales professional who is passionate about the Food Industry. Always focused on the bottom line, I constantly strive to perform for my company as well as nurture and grow my relationships within the industry. I am passionate about the work that I do and the people I work with. My number one priority is exceeding the expectations of my customers, and making sure they always know they are well taken care of.I am a graduate of Rutgers University School of Environmental and Biological Sciences with a Bachelor’s of Science in Environmental and Business Economics, Food Industry focus. I also have a certificate in Food Systems Education and Administration. In 2014, I completed the Penn State Ice Cream Short Course, and in 2015 I completed the Penn State Fundamentals of Food Science short course.Within my professional career, I also completed a year-long sales training program at David Michael & Co, which provided an all-encompassing formal training in Flavor Sales. After completing my training, I have successfully grown the value of my territory through building new relationships as well as maintaining existing business.In addition to my professional position, I also held volunteering positions with the Institute of Food Technologists. Chair of Central New Jersey IFT (2017-2018)Chair of New York IFT (2018-2019)Things I'm proud of: I have pursued a personal goal of selling flavors within the Southern California and Colorado regions to start-ups across multiple segments (Beverage, Alcohol, Plant-based Meat, Nutrition, and Organic). Working with start-ups has been a very rewarding experience, as the role of a Flavor Sales person is more like a product development consultant. I thrive off of problem solving, relationship building, and providing solutions to my clients.This has helped me break in to the world of start-ups, and tailor my style to support the needs of disruptive, innovative food companies.
