As a Design Instructor at NC State Design Lab for K-12 Education, I apply my passion and skills in graphic design, illustration, and immersive technology to create engaging and interactive learning experiences for students of all ages and backgrounds. I work with a diverse and collaborative team of educators, researchers, and designers to develop and deliver innovative and accessible design curricula and workshops, using tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and VR headsets.I am a recent graduate of NC State's College of Design, where I was also a teaching and research assistant, with a focus on XR development and user-centered experiences. I have contributed to research projects and publications on the use and impact of VR and AR in design education and practice, and I have assisted in teaching undergraduate courses on graphic design fundamentals and history. Additionally, I have gained valuable experience as a VR Studio Assistant and Library Fellow at NC State University Libraries, where I help students and faculty explore and experiment with VR technology and applications.
