My first step into the entrepreneurial world!I supported people in their fitness and self-love journeys by recommending fitness programs for them and hosting virtual challenge groups where I could support, guide, hold accountable, and cheer them on!Simultaneously, I supported people as they joined my team to build a business leveraging their skills in a way that felt aligned to them.I leveraged social media as a way to share my journey and experience as well as connect with others. As a senior at Saint Joseph's College I took the opportunity to participate in the internship program in order to get course credit through gaining professional experience. I interned in the Human Resources and Organizational Development Departments at Mercy Hospital in Portland, Maine from September 2007- December 2007. It was through this internship that I was offered a part time position as a Support Specialist in January 2008 which would bring me through my final semester at Saint Joseph's College. The Monday after graduation I went full time and I have been with the HR department since that time.
