During my years at the Indianapolis Museum of Art (IMA), I served at Chief of Staff to the Director. I was the primary point of contact between the Director and internal and external individuals. I acted as liaison on the Director’s behalf and represented the IMA and the Director to the public, employees, donors, boards, visitors, callers, etc. In addition, I had routine interaction with the IMA Board of Governors, Executive Committee, Trustees, Donors and other individuals. I served as a gatekeeper for all incoming requests, determining scheduling needs and importance. As point person for all exploratory initiatives and task forces, I played an integral role in the museums growth and stability. Additionally, I provided scheduling and informational support to the First Family of the IMA for museum-related events. I also managed all travel arrangements for the Director and First Family, national and international, IMA related and personal. As the direct contact to the IMA First Family, I project managed and executed all events at the residence as well.In 2012, I assisted our Board of Governors in a nationwide Director Search, scheduling confidential meetings, travel and tours. During this time, I assisted, implemented and managed multiple public programs continuing the museums overall culture. Finally, in addition to my administrative assistant duties, I also created and submitted an annual departmental budget, for the IMA Director, Director’s residence and Board of Governors. With the aforementioned duties, I was able to widen my skill set and ultimately become one of the top executive assistants in Indianapolis
