This summer, I volunteered at Tabitha's House Thrift Store, where we worked to support the store's mission of funding the local food pantry. My responsibilities included sorting and tagging donations, organizing and refreshing displays to create an appealing shopping environment, and assisting customers with their needs. Through this experience, I developed strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and customer service abilities, all while working with other volunteers and staff to ensure smooth store operations.

This summer, I am working with Pompeian's environmental and sustainability department to become recognized by SCS as a Zero Waste Facility as part of Pompeian’s Environmental Strategy. My responsibilities include preparing internal and external environmental performance reports and assisting with ISO 14001 certification requirements. I am collaborating effectively with the team, applying my skills in environmental awareness and waste management to support our sustainability goals and ensure compliance with industry standards.

As a lifeguard at Casino Pier's Breakwater Beach, I fostered a friendly and welcoming atmosphere and ensured customer satisfaction. I anticipated and addressed guests' safety needs throughout the day, utilizing my skills in water safety training and water rescue. Certified in CPR and AR, I effectively managed safety protocols and enforced judgments to maintain a secure environment. My strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities were essential in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all visitors.

In my role at Trinity Episcopal Day School's aftercare program, I designed and facilitated engaging, collaborative, and safe activities for students aged 2-13. I effectively communicated and documented students’ progress, behavior, and achievements to parents, ensuring they were well-informed about their child's development. Additionally, I diligently enforced security and safety protocols, maintaining a secure environment for all students. My leadership and creative problem-solving skills enabled me to address challenges efficiently, enhancing the overall aftercare experience and fostering both educational and social growth.
