In collaboration with local artisans and craftsmen along the northeast coast, working creatively with architects and interior designers based in Boston, MA to coordinate the design and fabrication of bespoke commercial furniture and architectural elements crafted from reclaimed, salvaged, and renewable materials. Working to create long-lasting designs that support local manufacturing communities and the natural environment.

Senior Interior Designer and Project Manager responsible for leading teams through the entire design and construction process on projects of varying scales. Ability to take a client’s initial vision and transform it into realized space, mentoring junior team members to ensure we met the project goals and code requirements, while creating unique and constructible projects, delivered on-time and within budget.Nurtured and encouraged the growth and development of the Interior Design department together with the Director, to establish a team of nine designers, who supported the larger architectural team on numerous projects concurrently.Contributed to business development, bringing in new clients and securing projects, growing and diversifying the portfolio of the firm.As a key member of the Office Culture Group, Jillian championed many extracurricular events for a staff of 70, ensuring a healthy work-life balance and building lasting bonds with colleagues of all levels.

As the Founder of a grassroots activewear brand with a focus on inclusivity and community, Jillian was responsible for countless tasks, including managing inventory, production, and sales, as well as product design, branding, graphics, marketing, and social media. She established and led a free community running club, organizing groups of 30-80 people weekly, planning a route, ensuring safety and developing relationships with local vendors for over five years.Participated as a vendor at races and events, selling the brand's custom products to hundreds of runners and supporters all over New England.

As a Guest Critic, Jillian provided insightful feedback to Interior Design thesis students at project presentations throughout multiple phases of the design process.

Produced detailed construction documents for custom furniture and built-in millwork and generated product specifications.Sourced new products and materials to create innovative and unique palette combinations, interesting design solutions and statement pieces that contributed to award winning projects

As a Design Intern Jillian contributed to the organization of the materials library and coordination of vendor trade shows. She was also responsible for assembling material palettes and presentation boards for client meetings.

Worked in the University's Office of Admissions providing campus tours to prospective students and reviewing applications under the guidance of an Admissions Counselor.
