I’m passionate about providing people with the tools and education to create more inclusive and resilient solutions, particularly through community-owned and open source technologies.At NYC Mesh, I lead community-outreach and education initiatives to bring affordable broadband to New Yorkers. I also write the newsletter and handle the social media, when time permits. It was this work that shaped my opinion of alternative nonprofit funding models. It was also where my drive to create and support technologies that are user-centric, privacy-oriented and interoperable; technology is a tool that we as humans should control and not the other way around.I am an MBA student at NYU Stern where I am specializing in sustainable business and strategy. I'm considering roles in management consulting or product management. I'm on the boards of the Stern Energy and Infrastructure Club, the Langone Student Government and the Social Impact and Sustainability Association (SISA). I have also participated in several student consultant opportunities with organization including David Yurman and Achilles International.
