I am a receptionist/zookeeper at Discover Amazonia, a small indoor tropical rainforest located in Motherwell. I am involved in many aspects of the company, from sales to animal care. I also lead handling sessions with some of our wonderful animals to help educate the public on the threats faced by these creatures and how they can help. My current position has also given me the opportunity to lead educational tours with schools ranging from nursery to high school which has been a very rewarding experience.

I was a part-time sales assistant at my local pharmacy to gain work experience in my final year of school. This job provided me with the opportunity to develop customer service skills and to gain an understanding of working within a team as part of a large company.
