We’ve long been obsessed with show-stopping Italian shoes. But we were tired of watching what we loved slip away as all but a few luxury brands left Italy for what was faster and cheaper, and the ones that remained charged astronomical prices.In early 2015, a small group of us—Italians in Florence and Americans in Boston—started M.Gemi. We returned to Italy and built relationships with small specialist workshops where shoes are still handmade, following steps that are over a hundred years old.Then we introduced old world to new. By leveraging these relationships in Italy and selling online only, we removed the middleman, offering new shoes every single Monday, direct to shoe lovers, at historically impossible prices. Today, our team of style aficionados, data geeks, software specialists, ecommerce gurus, and passionate creatives are reinventing the business of luxury.

As Marketing Coordinator at Triton Digital, there are many responsibilities included, all of which are challenging yet educational and enjoyable. Triton is a great team and innovative company; it is an honor to be a part of it. As the newest addition to this office, I serve a supportive roll, and get to work in many areas with the whole team. Responsibilities include assisting in event coordination as well as external relationship building and helping with the company websites, internally and externally. Ensuring the success of exceptional internal communication within our office as well as within the entire ever-growing company is another responsibility. Other contributing efforts as Marketing Coordinator include working with internal and external one sheets, decks, and relative creative work. Handling the Triton Digital's marketing office operations and financials, such as invoicing and expense reports, are a couple more responsibilities that I am in charge of as well. Computer programs that are utilized daily include, but are not limited to, Microsoft Excel, Google Docs, Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint. Creativity, innovative thinking, superior communication, teamwork, a well-rounded knowledge of digital solutions, and focus are every day demands. Having been at Stewart's since the beginning of the business in 2009 (seasonally), the roles I took on exceeded simply hosting and serving. Tasks that would be taken on included organizing and managing the floor of the restaurant while ensuring the customers were happy, whether they were large or small groups, waiting to sit at a table or ready for dessert. I helped in launching the business and keeping it organized. Occasionally the role would include marketing innovation to advertise products, specials, and promotions. In the very high-pressure and fast-paced environment of a central Cape Cod restaurant, I maintained order and helped the business excel.
