My experience includes teaching high school advanced placement and 1818 program English literature, rhetoric, and composition. I also have middle school teaching experience. I also have served as advisor to Journalism and Speech programs. I believe in teaching the whole child and specialize in teaching the periphery groups of learning disabled or gifted. I have written extensive curriculum in both Communication Arts and interdisciplinary units. I am currently undergoing Orton Gillingham training, and I have experience with curriculum such as Wilson.
