My practice focuses on consumer, privacy, and products class-action litigation, and contingency fee business litigation.

• Represented sophisticated clients in complex litigation matters, including matters involving breach of contract, business torts, breach of fiduciary duty, and securities class actions• Drafted dispositive motions in state and federal court cases, including motions to dismiss, summary judgment motions, and a preliminary injunction• Managed all discovery aspects of cases, including drafting discovery requests, managing document review and productions, preparing privilege logs, drafting discovery correspondence, and drafting and responding to discovery motions• Prepared for and second chaired depositions, including the two-day deposition of the founder and CEO of a Fortune 500 company in 2017; conducted several depositions in January 2019 in a breach of contract case against a Fortune 500 company• Covered status hearings in Cook County Court and argued a discovery motion DuPage County court• Prepared for state court trial in Nevada• Prepared for and participated in mediation, including drafting mediation brief and response• Represented two clients as part of Sidley’s Capital Litigation Project and drafted federal habeas briefing for both clients – one in the Middle District of Alabama and the other in the Southern District of Indiana• Represented clients as part of Sidley’s Municipal Trial Court Program
