While living abroad in Australia for her teenage years, I obtained an overwhelming passion for the art of roasting coffee and hospitality. By age 17, I successfully helped design, advertise, and manage a café in Coober Pedy, South Australia. Beginning work at a young age developed a strong work ethic and determination to connect to people from more than a customer viewpoint. I desire to further advance coffee culture in America to bring a unique combination of Australian culture, hospitality, and coffee to the USA. Currently working as a manager of a bustling cafe in the city of Adelaide, I serve my community by making them a handcrafted cup of coffee each morning and cultivating relationships. Before Starbucks, I worked as the manager of Royal Copenhagen Café, a dessert and coffee bar, and trained coworkers in specialty coffee. I have also dedicated time to the Glenelg Art Gallery photographing events, framing Aboriginal Paintings, and advising on the floor/design of the gallery. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. When not studying or working, I love to spend time with my six brothers, paint, play board games, and hike!
