Led the learning and evaluation strategies across the Foundation through translating the Foundation’s vision for social change into a learning framework that contributes to a better understanding of progress and impact.

Led a team of consultants and contractors who provide capacity-building and management consulting to nonprofit, government, foundation, education and other social change organizations. Identified client needs, develop and implement approaches designed to address challenges and leverage assets—ultimately strengthening organizational capacity. Provided oversight on all business development and client management services, as well as organizational strategy and operations.

Worked to find the intersection between theory and practice; data and meaningful, real-world applications by actively engaging diverse sets of stakeholders and synthesizing mixed-methods research to support organizations as they seek to better align their services with the current needs of their communities and the demands of the broader environment within which they operate. Managed and conducted research and evaluation projects, and facilitated business and strategic planning projects.

Managed the development and implementation of a project examining the effectiveness of federal funding streams designed to meet the needs of children from low-income families through research and community engagement. Analyzed the needs of children in Colorado and critically examined past, current and future states of funding, while developing short-term and long-term, strategic policy recommendations both from a service-delivery and a systems perspective.

Ann Arbor, Mi

Conducted doctoral research that examined the consequences of different perceptions of social identities (e.g., race, gender, and social class) from theoretical and applied perspectives including research in classrooms and in community-based organizations. Completed coursework in quantitative, qualitative and survey research, advanced statistical analyses, decision-making and attitudes, poverty and cultural psychology.Led and organized a sustaining lab group composed of undergraduate students and diverse volunteers to work on a consistent body of research for 5 years, and mentored and managed multiple research assistants and students, supervising weekly lab meetings and overseeing three undergraduate honors thesis projects. Taught undergraduate students as a graduate student instructor for five courses.

Developed course curriculum and independently taught an Introduction to Psychology course on Colorado College's block plan system.

Created and analyzed a dataset for use of federal funds in Colorado in advance of debt and deficit discussions, devised and implemented statewide survey analyzing student veteran education benefit experiences and took a lead role in organizing the 1st Annual Colorado Women’s Leadership Forum. In addition, produced issue, site and county briefs for Senator Bennet and senate staff, and drafted talking points, official letters and senate memorandums.
