As a founder member and Chief Marketing Officer, Jill was responsible for Business Development, Marketing and Operations. She secured strategic relationships with over 100 telecom wholesale carriers worldwide, which was responsible for 100% of the revenue. Her legacy was developing and executing a marketing and business plan that brought the company into the telecommunications retail environment, which lead to the company’s public acquisition. As a member of the senior management team her role consisted of:- Marketing – Created company name, website, collateral and trade show presence as well as established a reputation of having high-quality products and extreme technical expertise through business development, trade shows and public relations resulting in global awareness within the telecommunications wholesale industry. Established connectivity to over 100 carriers;- Business Development – Responsible for all sales of the organization including managing sales representatives and independent agents;- Business Planning – Created an extensive business plan which identified product offerings, position and pricing, new markets, go to market strategies, competitive analysis, exit strategies and market risks;- Accounting/Administration – Responsible for all taxation, P&L, Payroll, FCC regulatory issues, contract negotiation and management of those contracts;- Product Marketing – Assisted with the development of a superior wholesale call accounting software which consisted of conducting marketing research studies to determine industry needs, relaying those needs to engineering for further development and establishing relationships for 5 initial beta customers.

Its platform combined IPSec-VPN, firewalling, policy routing, and 3rd party security application hosting and networking. She not only launched Asita Technologies but helped launch the VPN market setting the standard for the future generation of VPNs. She created the go-to-market strategy and global marketing plan targeting industries such as: service providers and large-enterprise IT that resulted in VC funding of $24 million and generated over 13,000 highly qualified leads from a marketing program mostly comprised of demand generation, public relations and events. These efforts resulted in a $10 million sales pipeline within the first year of business.

CAIS Software was a developer and provider of Internet software for wireless networking services for hotels, apartments and small businesses delivery high speed internet access without facility upgrades. Jill's role in the company was to create market awareness to set the company up for a successful acquisition. She created and executed a global marketing plan targeting healthcare, hospitality, airports and enterprise IT that was highly focused on brand identity and market awareness to set the stage for company acquisition. This was achieved in less than a year with an acquisition by Cisco Systems.

Not only did Jill help launch Nuera Communications from a management buy out from PCSI that was owned by Cirrus Logic, she helped launch the VoIP industry making VoIP a household name and making possible such companies as Skype, Vonage and any Service Provider to offer Unlimited Internet based calling. Nuera Communications was one of the first voice over IP gateway manufacturers and had superior voice quality allowing Jill and her marketing team to win countless industry awards. As a founding member of Nuera and Marketing Communications Manager, I managed the global marketing communications department and was responsible for Partner Marketing, Public Relations, Events, Demand Generation, Inside Sales, and Channel Management. Her efforts generated qualified leads with such decision makers as C-Level Executives, and Telecommunication Engineers in the service provider, manufacturing, and other large-scale enterprise industries and delivered $36 million in revenue inside two years.
