Direct State of Georgia's Jail Diversion Trauma Recovery Program with Priority to Veterans. Goal of program is to work collaboratively with the criminal justice system to divert Veterans and others, suffering from untreated PTSD and other trauma-related disorders, away from jail sentences and into treatment and case management services. Direct the implementation of program services at two program sites, one in Savannah, GA and one in the Northwest GA Mountain area. Conduct critical analysis research, develop or modify policy and strategic plans, and evaluate programs. Prepare reports and presentations, and work with clients, grant applicants, outside vendors, and management to develop or implement programs that addresses division/department strategies. Provide technical assistance to judicial circuits and community behavioral health providers working to establish new Accountability Court initiatives to serve the needs of Veterans and Active Duty Service Members.
