I am a Communications Specialist at In-Nova.1, a company that is developing a green tech resort in Oswego, NY. With a Ph.D. in Communication and specializations in Critical Cultural Studies and Ethnography, I am passionate about creating and disseminating messages that resonate with diverse audiences and advance social and environmental causes.For over 30 years, I have also been a freelance academic copy and developmental editor, helping authors of journal articles and monographs in various disciplines to polish and publish their work. I have worked with multiple publishers and clients, including first-time authors of memoirs. In addition, I have been a field interviewer for Vital Research, conducting in-person and telephone interviews for aging services projects. I have a strong background in English and History, with a bachelor's and a master's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a certificate in Marketing Strategy from Cornell University. I have written and co-authored several books and articles on topics ranging from George Washington to club drug use and tourism practices. I am fluent in Spanish, I have studied French and German, and I have lived and worked in the US and Mexico.
