Trained several career services representatives company-wide.

Handled all aspects of career services for programs including but not limited to; Electronic Systems Technician, Criminal Justice and Network Communications and Systems Specialist. Conducting interview and resume writing workshops with students before they graduated as well as job development, contacting employers, and encouraging students with career development: setting up interviews, circulating resumes, and motivating students. Successfully raised EST programs placement stats during first year raising employment rates significantly bringing it to the highest it has ever been in the schools history. Extra responsibilities included being part of the graduation committee which is responsible for graduating 200-300 students with as many as 1200 people in attendance twice yearly, as well as being an Accreditation Self- Study committee chairperson and attending a workshop in Washington D.C. at ACICS in September 2007, which led to a no-findings re-accreditation in 2008.

As a Rhode Island Certified Pharmacy Technician Instructor, I was responsible for the instruction of students in customer service, handling medications, IV preparations, compounding, anatomy and therapeutics of medications, ethics, law, inventory control in a pharmacy setting as well as getting students prepared to be RI licensed and nationally certified by PTCB. Independently assumed the responsibilities of lead instructor and provided management to the program and trained instructors as needed; subsequently promoted to Lead Instructor. Assisted in securing externships for students who were nearing completion of the program. Under my direct supervision the pharmacy technician program consistently had near 100% retention rate and above 90% job placement.
