At VeriSign, I was promoted multiple times to become the leader of global marketing for their largest business unit ($600M) that managed the global infrastructure and registry services for .com, .net, .tv and other domain names as well as offered value added services and Internet threat mitigation services. Leveraging a mix of thought leadership, branding, advertising, promotion, market research, events and other programs, I was instrumental in growing the business unit from 32M domain names to almost 100M in six years. This growth was driven by a “test and learn” strategy whereby I implemented multiple programs and continually refined to optimize results. As a result, I was honored with VeriSign's top award for an innovative program that drove record cash sales.Launched a geographic expansion program into Latin America to establish distribution network, customer awareness and adoption. Due to its success, the program was expanded to China, India and Europe.Developed and managed go-to-market strategy, including market research, collateral, lead generation, demos, and positioning; supported RFP responses.Beyond my marketing function, tapped to lead a cross-functional team to research and identify new line of business to expand revenue. As a result, VeriSign launched new business unit and M&A strategy.
