As the Family Programs Director I was in charge of program strategy and development, community outreach and engagement, Volunteer recruitment and training, telling our story and marketing our programs through social media, individual relationships and strategic partnerships. Over an 8-year period I helped build and solidify family and community engagement at the JCC by creating and leading a comprehensive music program for families with young children ages newborn - 6 years and for our preschool classrooms. The music program included a weekly Shabbat Sing music experience for JCC preschoolers, their families and teachers; weekly music classes including Jewish content for preschool classrooms; music experiences for holidays, enrichments and vacation camps; and developing and leading workshops for teachers to help them bring music into their classrooms organically.

Created and implemented more than 100 classes and events annually, including pre-school enrichments and vacation camps, Family Camp Weekend, Warm Welcome newborn visits, Jewish Holidays, caregiver/tot music, art and tumbling classes, Jewish Baby University, Jewish Grandparent University, and Celebrate Family.
