People Manager: full staff team of two to three (has varied depending on budget) professionals, including goal setting, strategic planning, evaluation, ongoing training, support and feedback (promoted responsibility June 2012).Program Manager: Management and support of teen chapters, programming and volunteer advisors, as well as regional teen leadership board and various Bay Area wide programs, partnerships and initiatives.Event Manager: Extensive experience with operations, budgets, program development, partner engagement, and marketing for events ranging from one night to full conferences for up to 400 participants.Leadership Development & Training: Curriculum and training program development: bi-annual training retreats, volunteer training and development, new staff onboarding processes (adopted by several regions across organization). Co-facilitated BBYO’s New Professionals Orientation/Training (August 2014); invited to organization-wide leadership curriculum development team and 4-person leadership team for planning of New Prof. Training for August 2015.Engagement & Partnerships: Development and maintenance of partnerships and collaborations (5 JCCs - including one shared staff position, multiple congregations, other communal organizations). Served as lead agency on major collaborative events, including “Limos and Latkes”, which in my final year engaged nearly 250 middle school students across the bay.Career Trajectory: Hired as Program Director 2007, promoted to Senior Program Director May 2010, promoted to Senior Regional Director May 2014Results include growth of overall engagement from 600 to nearly 2,000 participants, increased community and international involvement, growing donor community (personally closed 2 of region’s largest annual gifts), expanded program offerings in new territories, and new programmatic/leadership initiatives.
