Director Of Professional Learning
CurrentAs the Director of Professional Learning, this role leads and manages initiatives to provide resources, tools, and professional development for district technology leaders. The focus is on strategic execution, collaboration, and delivering impactful, aligned learning solutions.Development of Resources Creates and disseminates publications, blogs, webinars, and online tools supporting AI, Cybersecurity, K-12 EdTech Innovation, Network and Systems Design, and Student Data Privacy. Develops learning opportunities across online, facilitated, and in-person formats.Committee, Program and Project LeadershipOversees committees such as AI, Professional Learning, EmpowerED Superintendents, CTO Academy for K-12 Early Career and Aspiring CTOs, Cybersecurity, and CTO Council. Manages meetings, rosters, reports, marketing resources, and conference submissions to ensure smooth operations with project directors and volunteer members.Collaboration and Stakeholder EngagementWorks with the Director of External Relations on sponsorship and in-kind deliverables. Collaborates with the Communications Department to promote learning opportunities and aligns resources and events with strategic goals.Event CoordinationPlans and implements Annual Conference content, including planning, scheduling, presenter selection, and resource updates to meet organizational priorities.Grant OversightMonitors deliverables, supports pre-award planning, and integrates grant-funded projects with existing programs.Content ManagementOversees updates to documents and website content, ensuring accuracy and addresses helpdesk inquiries promptly.Evaluation and Improvement Evaluates learning offerings, incorporates feedback, and designs courses with subject matter experts to meet evolving needs and advance organizational goals.
