WorkLife Central is a digital hub of expert-led content designed to support, inform and inspire professionals in their family life, work life and wellbeing. As Head of Digital Strategy my role is to ensure all of WorkLife Central’s digital platforms, whether internal or external, are being fully utilised to maximise the Company’s exposure, efficiency, and drive business development. As a company centred around supporting its users on their personal journeys, I am focussed on enhancing our user experience, across all digital touchpoints. To achieve this, I maintain a strong understanding of trends in website developments, functionality, and design, from both the front end (user) perspective and the back end (team) perspective. I work with our web developers to ensure best-in-class functionality of the website, monitor progress of technical developments, and bring new ideas to ensure we stay ahead of technological and market developments to provide the best experience for our members.Central to my role is supporting WorkLife Central’s growth, working with our Marketing and events teams on campaigns focussed on expanding our membership base. This includes overseeing the creation of video content and targeted social media engagement to meet campaign objectives.

With the growth of the Cityparents offering and the further development of the On Demand programme, my role has expanded to include the coordinating of various forms of content across the website. From basic webpage layouts and designs to video editing and social media management the increased capacity of my role is both rewarding and a new challenge I am happy to accomplish. In addition to contributing to the coordination of the events in our careers, families, inclusion and workplace topics I am also in charge of designing the wellbeing programme for Cityparents. This covers live webinars and workshops, 10 minute prerecorded shorts and 30 minute prerecorded video content. Thanks to the incredible ground work done by my colleagues during the expansion of the company I am able to carve out a programme that will have an overall arch across the upcoming year, with each event building upon and supporting each other, but also viewable as one off events.

Cityparents is a London-based organisation with a global reach, connecting over 25,000 working parents and providing expertise and support across all aspects of life. With a comprehensive schedule of expert-led webinars spanning the core topics of careers, wellbeing and family, Cityparents is proud to be on the forefront of supportive content not just for working parents but for anyone who want to get the most out of both their work and home lives.In 2020 we ran 135 webinars, developed two new events series, introduced support groups and short form webinars to compliment our already existing program of hour long webinars, podcasts, expert advices articles and blogs. We are an all part-time team of working mothers who are given the flexibility needed to be present with both our team and our family. When you feel a sense of balance in your life it enables you to keep a more clear, focused mind and produce some truly incredible work.
