Ms. Michael is an Environmental Compliance Specialist with over 21 years of experience in environmental regulatory compliance assessments and 11 years of project management experience. She has been an EMS, environmental compliance and health and safety lead staff assessor, quality assurance quality control team member and database administrator/project manager on behalf of various federal agencies, including the ARNG, USAR, NOAA, DOC and PACAF in more than 43 states, Japan and Korea. Ms. Michael is responsible for environmental regulatory research, conducting field assessments, processing group travel plans and arrangements, preparing reports, plans and SOPs, as well as quality assurance, quality control. In addition, Ms. Michael is a project manager, an environmental compliance and software trainer, database administrator, author of environmental software manuals, co-author and author of environmental training classes, environmental plans, programs and procedures and computer-based training modules for various DoD and DOC clients. Project management duties include employee oversight, addressing proper performance of the project scope, ensuring timely completion of all project tasks, maintaining project budget and staff, coordination with clients, program managers, software/hardware technicians and computer programmers, creating reports, plans/procedures and SOPs, and quality assurance quality control.

Jill Michael is a Construction Project Specialist with extensive experience in commercial and governmental construction. As a subcontractor liaison, she helps guide projects from initial project planning through closeout, and provides assistance with a wide range of activities, from obtaining insurance certifications and building licenses to preparing and reviewing contracts, purchasing, ordering, layout, and invoicing. Ms. Michael served as the Project Manager, co-author and research specialist for the development of the Buckley Air Force Base (AFB) Green Design and Construction Resource Manual. The manual was developed to promote sustainable design in new construction at the base. It also assisted Buckley AFB planners, designers, engineers, maintenance, and procurement personnel, and contractors with meeting the requirements and intent of Energy Policy Act of 2005 (EPAct05), Executive Order (EO) 13423, and the Air Force Sustainable Design and Development Policy Memorandum, 31 July, 2007 for MAJCOM’s MILCON vertical construction project. The manual was based on the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) program. LEED is a nationally accepted benchmark for the design, construction and operation of high performance green buildings.
