The thesis focuses on the role of brand authenticity in the early phases of brand development for purpose-driven brands. The research draws links between literature on brand brand development, brand authenticity and purpose-driven brands. Insights from the research resulted in a theoretical framework which is used to launch a consumer facing beauty brand for Forestwise.
