For 12+ years I worked as an dedicated accounts payable coordinator in the manufacturing industry. I had an excellent record of strong accuracy and utilised my exceptional customer service skills when dealing with irritated Vendors. Some of my duties included, preparing government remittances, Bank Reconciliations, General Entries, Coding Invoices, entering employees expense reports, managing cash flow etc, as well as collections. On top of my accounting duties, I also took on the role of Office Manager, I was in charge of building maintenance, ordering office supplies, maintaining the reception area, etc. After becoming certified by the province of Ontario I became the head of the Health and Safety committee, organized monthly meetings and ensured our offices were kept up to safety standards. I was also head of the Social committee and organized many successful company events. Recently I made a career change, I now am the Installation Manager at International Installations Inc. I currently oversee the installations of trade show booths across North America, this includes hiring and managing installers, making sure they stay within budget and fine tuning last minute changes to booths. Our goal is to ensure our customers receive the best booth set up while providing them with the excellence in customer service.
