I am a dedicated non-profit professional with a vision for a collaborative community based on accountability and compassion. For two decades I have been committed to building relationships between grassroots non-profits and donors; clients and community stakeholders. My expertise lies in communicating the needs of our community through strong donor relations and communications strategies. I believe in accountable and transparent fund development and a strategic response to program development and coordination.I have developed fundraising events from the ground up, in addition to leading a National fundraiser that included 23 communities, tens of thousands of participants and hundreds of sponsors. I thrive on ingenuity, a fast paced environment and a sensible approach to problems as they arise. Program development is a key area of expertise, and I have developed programming for youth, health services, housing first initiatives and volunteer services. I understand the importance of implementing ideas, and recognize the value of fiscal responsibility and program sustainability.One of my fundamental strengths lie in my proposal writing and my ability to demonstrate a strategic and comprehensive solution to the needs facing any organization. Excellence in storytelling, both visually and through the written word are well documented in my professional work. Over the last several years I have used my writing and photography as a powerful tool within the social media forum for both the non-profit and private sector. I manage social media accounts for the One World Bazaae, BD Battalion, Jill Woodley Photography and a Habitat for Humanity global build team. My photography is used by an international company to complement their social media strategy. Beyond my professional alliance to the non-profit sector, I am also an avid volunteer with many organizations including Habitat for Humanity Global Village (Eight builds in Central and South America).
