Responsible for the oversight of all organization operations including fund-raising, investments, budget, personnel, facilities. Had direct supervisory responsibility for Executive Director and Director of Development staff positions as well as all Board Officers and Committee Chairs. During tenure oversaw the successful completion of a $500k capital campaign and Centennial Celebration events. Proceeds of the capital campaign were used to fund the building of a new playhouse and playyard; both projects were completed during my tenure. Initiated the development of and helped to implement a formal investment policy for the organization's endowment portfolio. Assisted in the selection of a new portfolio investment manager. Refined $500k operating budget and streamlined budgeting process. Reviewed and updated board by-laws. Secured volunteers for all board officer positions and committee chairs.

Developed 3-5 year board strategic plan; oversaw all board fund-raising activities including gift shop, thrift shop and 3 day community fair. Evaluated the viability of the board run hospital gift shop, and implemented a succesful transition to out-sourcing of the shop. Served ex-officio on Hospital Boards of Trustees and on Nursing Blue Ribbon Panel Committee. Secured volunteers for all Women's Board officer and committee chair positions. Represented AMH at all PAHA (Pennsylvania Association of Hospital Auxilian) events.

Part-time contract position to oversee the annual Hay Group Employer Provided Benefits Survey.

Employee benefits consultant for wide range of corporate for profit and not for profit clients. Provided competitive analysis of group health and welfare, retirement and executive benefits programs. Projects included the evaluation of current plan design and strategy and alternative program recommendations. During tenure in the Hay Group benefits consulting unit advanced rapidly from associate benefits consultant to assistant vice president.
