I began my career in approximately the late 1960s working and training as a consultant recruiter in what was at that time a large employment agency chain. For those of you who remember, it was called Nancy Nolan Employment Agency and the 10 offices were connected by teletype machine. WOW! We were cutting edge! I spent 10 of the next 20 years working there. After taking a break to raise my family I returned to the work force again as a placement consultant this time for General Employment. I learned a great deal about goal setting and positive attitude and prioritizing. After 3 years there I was recruited (yes a recruiter who got recruited) to be the Manager for the Apple One,Thousand Oaks.permanent placement office. When Apple One executives decided they wanted to downsize and move me to another location far from my residence I joined a new start up recruiting company doing actual "head hunting" for Work Comp Claims Examiners in California. This was really different from the style of recruiting I had been trained for, so I blended the two styles and as the song goes "I did it my way" as I do today. The motto that I have built my life around is "Do Unto Others As You Would Have Others Do Unto You." It has served me well in all aspects of my life. There is one other phrase people hear me say often and it is just as important..."All you can do is all you can do and all you can do is enough. Just be sure you have done all you can do." To summarize, my goals have always remained the same, to make friends, strengthen relationships, help people who come my way and assist people in moving forward.Specialties: My main strength is in locating people in the production side of game development,All the people involved in the creation of developing products for the market from concept to gold, programmers, designers, artists, producers, executives and marketing specialists. We are strongly involved in the console market and the MMO world and the Casual Game arena plus of course the PC game section of the industry.
