Hi there! I'm Jilmar – 19 years old, born & raised in The Netherlands, and currently living in Dubai. At the moment, I'm working as a Project Manager at Junction.During my years in high school I've always had side hustles. At just 15 I worked as a part-time Stock Clerk & Cashier in my town's local grocery store. During the weekends and holidays I occasionally helped out with stacking boxes, packaging t-shirts, and more at my dad's warehouse. For a very short period of time at 16 I helped growing the @433 YouTube channel, contributing to my project about Social Media Marketing that I made as an assignment from school.At 18 I secured my first full-time job working as a Business Development Executive at Skyne, an international branding & design agency with its headquarters located in Dubai Design District. While being mentored by the firm's senior employees, I got first-hand experience in everything related to B2B sales. At the beginning of 2024 I became the Social Media & Partnerships Manager at Players House, a high-end sports lounge & bar located on the Palm Jumeirah. In this role, I was tasked with managing the company’s social media activities, as well as establishing strategic partnerships with local brands.On a personal aspect; I've been a competitive tennis player since I was young, and have a passion for sneakers, hiphop, sports, and tech.
