Work as a PhD-student in the division of Energy Science at Luleå University of Technology (LTU) in the Energy efficiency/Process integration and System analysis research area.My research is centered around thermochemical conversion (i.e. gasification) of biomass for production of different biofuels and green chemicals. In this work I try to identify and quantify technical and economic added values caused by integration of biomass gasification plant with existing large-scale industries (e.g. pulp mills, steel mills, etc.). All this is done to find potential production pathways for renewable products that could be justified from environmental, resource efficiency and profitability perspective. Before this, I was undergraduate student at LTU and received my Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 2010. The master thesis work was carried for ABB Components in Ludvika.
