Empire Recycled Fiber, LLC is a privately owned joint venture in the process of siting, engineering and financing the construction of a recovered fiber lightweight liner board and corrugated medium manufacturing facility in Moraine, Ohio. The design production capacity of the facility is on the order of 350,000 tons per year and will consume 400,000 tons per year of old corrugated containers (OCC) and Mixed Paper once commercially operational. The company is concluding joint venture negotiations with privately owned North American box manufacturing companies regarding technology transfer, equity participation in conjunction with long term off take contracts for the capacity of the mill under design.The Company has retained the services of W.G.Yates & Sons Construction out of Birmingham, AL as the potential Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contractor. APEC Engineering of Springboro, Ohio have been retained to oversee project management execution under the direction of Empire Recycled Fiber. APEC has completed the preliminary site plan and technology review of the core strategic equipment suppliers to the project. The company is scheduled to file the necessary permits required to construct the new facility in June in conjunction with detailed engineering. Morgan Stanley is being retained as bond underwriters on the project, with Faegre Drinker, LLP engaged as the company's legal counsel.. Syracuse Fiber Recycling is a leading recycling & processor of paper mill short fiber residue in New York State, as well as, the market leader in the production and distribution of dairy cow animal bedding in the regional market. The company currently meets the bedding needs of over 75 dairy farmers in the State of New York. With the successfully attainment of a $250,000 grant through Empire State Development Corporation this year the company is in the process of adding additional production capacity and has expectations of increasing their customer base accordingly to consume this additional capacity under long term purchasing agreements.

Northeast C&D Recycling, LLC has under taken the development of a contruction & demolition recycling facility in the Town of Coeymans, N.Y..Design capacity of this facility is on the order of 1,000 tpd with the ability to produce multiple industrial products from recycled C&D material, including pre-engineered alternative fuel and animal bedding.

Company secured a $25 million financial incentive package from the State of New Yoek to support the total project financing effort of $125 million. This incentive package is still available to the company should ETC secure the necessary strategic off take tissue contracts to support and finalize this financing endeavor.

Responsible for the identification, negotiation and ultimate joint venture between Empire Newsprint and Besicorp Development. This start up was a 1,000 tpd recycled newsprint mill and a 635 megawatt combined cycled cogen which was ultimately sold to Energy Capital. The Cogen entered commercial operation in September 2010 and is amoung the most efficient and lowest cost producers of electricity in the Northeastern US market.

Austin Partners, LLC were equity investors and core developers in this 500 ton per day recycled market pulp mill that commenced commercial operation in 1998. This facility is operating to this day and recycling on the order of 600 tons per day of mixed office waste paper and producing 500 tons per day of recycled market pulp for domestic and overseas markets.
