I love statistics and data. I've taught high school mathematics for the last 16 years, and in the last five years, I've fallen in love with statistics. Data can tell a story; it can be meaningful, actionable, and even beautiful. I am currently looking to transition from teaching into the field of data science.I am a learner by nature, so I've embarked on a wonderful journey to teach myself as many data science tools that I can learn on my own (Python, SQL as a start). As of this past August, I started a Master's Degree in Analytics from Georgia Tech, and will likely finish by the spring of 2024.I am a very capable team leader. I've been both the Math Department Chair at Principia School for the last 6 years as well as the Sophomore Grade Level Coordinator. In those roles, I've developed completely new programs from scratch and worked collaboratively with teams to create exceptional learning experiences for students.
