Conservation Corps provides hands-on environmental stewardship and service-learning opportunities to youth and young adults while accomplishing conservation, natural resource management and emergency response work. Managed overall payable expenditure process by monitoring approved expenses, positive pay with banks, and sales and use tax. Supervised 1099 reporting. Recorded and verified credit card transactions. Managed all accounting practices, including payroll and accounts payables supervision. Prepared budgets, tax and audit functions and financial reports. Served as key contributor to business expansion, capital financing and leasing projects.

Handled daily bank reconciliations and cash flow management. Held direct responsibility for payroll, payables, and corporate tax returns. Developed process improvements and online job postings. Developed an employee handbook and added a Section 125 Plan in my capacity as the first HR manager.
